Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data SatisFIT collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. It applies to the SatisFIT mobile and web application (the "App") and to the website satis.fit (the "Website").

In short

  • Your health and fitness data is used only to provide the App's features. It is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We use analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand how the App is used and to fix problems.
  • With your consent, we measure which advertising campaigns bring new users. You can refuse or withdraw this consent at any time and the App works exactly the same.
  • You can delete your account and data directly in the App at any time.

Who we are

The data controller is SatisFIT s.r.o., ID No. 21379513, with its registered office at Příkop 843/4, Zábrdovice, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Brno, file C 138604.

For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@satis.fit or through our contact form.

Information we collect

Account and profile data

When you create an account we collect your email address, name, and password (stored in hashed form). During onboarding and in settings you may provide profile details such as your training goals, experience level, sex, age, and body measurements.

Training and health data

The core of SatisFIT is the training data you record: workouts, exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, training plans, and body measurements such as weight and body fat. If you grant the relevant permissions, the App also exchanges data with your device's health platform (Google Health Connect on Android, Apple HealthKit on iOS):

  • Read: daily steps, active calories, weight, body fat, and historical health data, used to show your activity and statistics inside the App.
  • Write: weight and body fat measurements you record in SatisFIT can be synced back to your health platform.

These permissions are optional, requested individually, and can be revoked at any time in your device's health platform settings. See the section How we protect health data below for the commitments that apply to all of this data.

Purchase data

When you purchase a subscription, the payment is processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our payment provider. We receive your subscription status, product, and transaction identifiers so we can unlock your purchase. We never receive or store your full payment card details.

Usage and diagnostic data

To understand how SatisFIT is used and to find and fix problems, we collect app interaction events (screens visited, features used, subscription tier), session replays of how the interface is used, crash reports, and performance data. Once you sign in, this data is linked to your account identifier so we can investigate issues you report.

Advertising identifiers

Only with your consent (the iOS "Allow app to track" system prompt, or the in-app consent dialog on other platforms), we collect your device's advertising identifier and share it with our attribution partner to measure which advertising campaigns bring new users. If you decline, this identifier is not collected and the App works without any limitation.

Website visitors

When you visit the Website, our servers log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time). The Website also uses the analytics and marketing tools listed in the section Cookies and website analytics below.

Support and communication

If you contact us by email or through the contact form, we receive your email address and the content of your message.

How we use your data and on what legal basis

  • Providing the service (accounts, training tracking, statistics, sync across devices) - performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Processing health and fitness data - your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR), given when you enter the data or grant a health platform permission. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Subscriptions and billing - performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations such as accounting (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
  • Analytics, session replay, and crash reporting - our legitimate interest in improving and securing the App (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or your consent where required.
  • Advertising attribution - your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected via the platform tracking prompt.
  • Security and fraud prevention - our legitimate interest in protecting the service and its users (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Support - performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in helping you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

How we protect health data

Health and fitness data receives the strictest treatment in SatisFIT, in line with the Google Play health data policies and the Apple App Store health guidelines:

  • It is used exclusively to provide the App's features to you: displaying your activity, computing statistics, and personalizing your training.
  • It is never used for advertising, marketing, or use-based data mining.
  • It is never sold and never shared with third parties for their own purposes.
  • Access within our organization is restricted to what is necessary to operate the service.
  • It is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • If you are a member of a company wellness program, your employer only ever sees aggregated participation statistics, never your individual workouts, health metrics, or measurements.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers (processors) that help us run SatisFIT, under contracts that limit what they may do with it:

  • Microsoft Azure - cloud infrastructure that hosts our servers and database (privacy statement).
  • RevenueCat - subscription management; processes purchase receipts and subscription status (privacy policy).
  • Apple App Store / Google Play - payment processing for in-app purchases (Apple, Google).
  • Adjust - advertising attribution, only with your tracking consent (privacy policy).
  • PostHog - product analytics (privacy policy).
  • Microsoft Clarity - session replay and usage analytics (privacy statement).
  • Sentry - crash reporting and performance monitoring (privacy policy).
  • Google Analytics and Meta - website analytics and advertising measurement on the Website only (Google, Meta).

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy continues to apply to your data).

International transfers

Some of the providers above are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on safeguards recognized by the GDPR: the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies and website analytics

The Website uses Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity. These tools use cookies or similar identifiers to measure how the Website is used and how effective our advertising is. Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity load only after you consent in the cookie banner; Google Analytics runs without cookies, sending only anonymized aggregated signals, until you consent. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the Website footer, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The App itself does not use advertising cookies.

How long we keep your data

  • Account, training, and health data - for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, this data is deleted.
  • Billing records - for the period required by tax and accounting law (typically up to 10 years in the Czech Republic).
  • Analytics and diagnostic data - for the retention period of the respective tool, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
  • Support communication - for as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Security

We protect your data with technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure development practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data in line with industry standards and will comply with applicable law in the event of a data breach.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, free of charge.
  • Rectification - have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed.
  • Erasure - have your data deleted, for example by deleting your account.
  • Restriction - request that we limit how we process your data in certain situations.
  • Portability - receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection - object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent - at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. Health platform permissions can be revoked in your device settings; tracking consent in your device or in-app privacy settings.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@satis.fit. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in our case the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz), or the authority of your country of residence.

California and other US state privacy rights

If you live in California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect (described in this policy), to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@satis.fit; we will respond within 45 days. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account directly in the App under Settings, or by contacting us at support@satis.fit. Deleting your account removes your personal data, except for records we are legally required to keep (such as invoices).

Children

SatisFIT is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we will notify you in the App or by email.
