About this exercise

An advanced bodyweight abdominal exercise combining a full V-up with an additional crunch contraction at the top. Both the upper and lower body lift simultaneously to meet in the middle, maximizing core engagement throughout the range of motion.

How to Perform

  • Lie flat on your back with legs straight and arms extended overhead
  • In one smooth motion, lift both your legs and your upper body off the floor, reaching your hands toward your feet
  • At the top of the movement, perform an additional crunch by curling your chest further toward your knees
  • Squeeze the abs hard at the peak contraction
  • Slowly lower both your upper body and legs back to the floor simultaneously
  • Avoid letting your back arch excessively at the bottom before starting the next rep
