About this exercise

An advanced core exercise that works the entire abdominal wall by simultaneously lifting the upper body and legs into a V shape. It also recruits the hip flexors and challenges balance and control.

How to Perform

  • Lie flat on your back with your legs straight and arms extended overhead
  • Simultaneously raise your torso and legs, keeping both straight
  • Reach your hands toward your feet so your body forms a V shape
  • Pause briefly while balancing on your glutes
  • Lower your upper body and legs back down under control
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
