About this exercise

The V-Sit Against Wall is an isometric core exercise where you brace your back against a wall and hold both legs raised in a V position. The wall provides feedback to keep the spine neutral while the abs and hip flexors work to sustain the hold.

How to Perform

  • Sit on the floor close to a wall and press your lower back flat against it
  • Lean back slightly and raise both legs off the floor, forming a V shape with your body
  • Keep your arms extended forward or alongside your torso for balance
  • Maintain contact between your back and the wall throughout the hold
  • Squeeze your abs and hold the position for the prescribed duration
  • Lower your legs under control to return to the starting position

Primary
AbsCore
