About this exercise

An abdominal exercise performed lying on your back where you raise both legs, spread them apart into a V shape, bring them back together, and lower them — intensely targeting the lower abs, hip flexors, and inner thighs.

How to Perform

  • Lie flat on your back with your arms at your sides and legs fully extended
  • Press your lower back into the floor and engage your core
  • Raise both legs simultaneously until they are perpendicular to the floor
  • Spread your legs apart as wide as comfortable, forming a V shape
  • Bring your legs back together with control
  • Lower them slowly toward the floor, stopping just before your heels touch
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
