About this exercise

The V Flutter Kick is a bodyweight core exercise performed from a V-sit position, where both legs are raised and you alternate rapid up-and-down kicks. Holding the V shape while kicking intensely challenges the abs, hip flexors, and core stability.

How to Perform

  • Sit on the floor and lean back slightly, lifting both legs off the ground to form a V shape with your body
  • Extend your arms alongside your torso or place your hands lightly on the floor for support
  • Keeping your core tight, rapidly alternate kicking your legs up and down in a scissoring motion
  • Keep your lower back pressed toward the floor and avoid letting your legs drop too low
  • Breathe steadily throughout the movement
  • Continue for the prescribed number of repetitions or duration
