About this exercise

The Twist March is a dynamic standing exercise that combines alternating high knee marches with a rotational torso twist, engaging the obliques, core, and hip flexors simultaneously. It improves coordination, core stability, and cardiovascular endurance.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and arms extended in front of you or bent at 90 degrees
  • Lift your right knee toward your waist while rotating your torso to the right
  • Lower your right foot and immediately lift your left knee, rotating your torso to the left
  • Keep your core tight and your upper body tall throughout
  • Maintain a steady marching rhythm, alternating sides continuously
  • Focus on full torso rotation with each knee lift
