About this exercise

A plyometric boxing drill in which you alternate left and right downward punches while switching your stance with each rep. The movement trains shoulder power, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance simultaneously.

How to Perform

  • Stand in a fighting stance with one foot forward, knees slightly bent
  • Raise one fist and drive it downward in a sharp, controlled punch across the body
  • As the punch lands, jump lightly and switch your foot position
  • Immediately raise the opposite fist and deliver a downward punch
  • Keep your core tight and your hips rotating slightly with each punch
  • Maintain a quick, rhythmic pace, alternating sides continuously
  • Breathe out sharply with each punch
