About this exercise

A dynamic bodyweight movement that combines a lateral arm swipe with a rear leg kickback, targeting the glutes while challenging balance, coordination, and core stability. The counter-movement of the arm and leg creates a rhythmic, flowing motion used in cardio and functional training circuits.

How to Perform

  • Stand on one foot with a slight bend in the supporting knee and core braced
  • Sweep both arms to one side while simultaneously swinging the opposite leg backward and upward
  • Squeeze the glute at the top of the kickback and hold briefly for balance
