EasyAbs

About this exercise

A full-range sit-up performed with legs straight and flat on the floor, finishing by reaching forward to tap the toes at the top of the movement. Keeping the legs extended increases the challenge on the hip flexors and prevents cheating with a momentum kick.

How to Perform

  • Lie flat on your back with your legs fully extended and arms by your sides or crossed on your chest
  • Press your lower back gently toward the floor and engage your core
  • Curl your torso upward, leading with your chest, until you reach a full upright position
  • At the top, reach both hands forward to tap your toes
  • Slowly lower yourself back to the floor under control
  • Keep your legs straight throughout — do not bend your knees
