About this exercise

A dynamic cardio-conditioning move that pairs a lateral step-jack pattern with an inner biceps curl, elevating the heart rate while simultaneously engaging the arms and legs. The inner curl path keeps the elbows tucked and the palms facing inward throughout the movement.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with your feet together and arms fully extended at your sides
  • Step your right foot out to the side while simultaneously curling both hands toward your shoulders with palms facing inward (inner/hammer curl path)
  • Return your right foot to center and lower your hands back to the starting position
  • Immediately step your left foot out and repeat the curl motion
  • Continue alternating sides in a steady, rhythmic pattern for the desired number of reps
