About this exercise

A dynamic cardio exercise that combines a lateral stepping jack motion with a simultaneous front arm raise, elevating the heart rate while challenging shoulder endurance and coordination. It requires no equipment and works well as a warm-up or high-repetition conditioning drill.

How to Perform

  • Stand with your feet together and arms at your sides
  • Step your right foot out to the side while simultaneously raising both arms straight in front of you to shoulder height
  • Step your right foot back in while lowering your arms
  • Step your left foot out to the side while raising both arms again
  • Continue alternating sides in a smooth, continuous rhythm
  • Keep your core braced and your back straight throughout
  • Maintain a slight bend in the elbows to reduce joint stress
