A functional movement combining a static lunge with a diagonal rotational chop. Holding a split-stance lunge, you drive your clasped hands diagonally across the body from a high position to a low position, challenging core rotational strength and lower body stability simultaneously.

How to Perform

  • Step one foot forward and lower into a lunge, keeping your torso upright and your front knee above the ankle
  • Clasp your hands together and raise them up to one side at shoulder height
  • Keeping your lower body still, rotate your torso and swing your arms diagonally across your body toward the opposite hip
