About this exercise

The Standing Under Knee Clap is a dynamic plyometric drill that challenges balance and coordination by driving the knee high and clapping the hands underneath it. It elevates the heart rate and activates the core and hip flexors simultaneously.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and arms relaxed at your sides
  • Shift weight onto one foot and drive the opposite knee upward explosively
  • Clap both hands together underneath the raised knee at the peak of the movement
  • Lower the foot back to the floor with control
  • Immediately repeat on the same or alternating leg
  • Maintain an upright torso and engaged core throughout
