It dynamically stretches the hip flexors and hamstrings by alternating a high knee drive and a heel-to-glute kick on the same leg.

How to Perform

  • Stand upright next to a wall or sturdy support, holding it lightly with one hand
  • Balance on the left foot with a slight bend in the knee
  • Drive the right knee up toward the chest as high as comfortable
  • Without touching the floor, immediately swing the right leg back and kick the heel toward the right glute
  • Continue alternating the high knee and butt kick on the right leg for the desired reps
  • Switch to the other leg and repeat
