About this exercise

Standing Shoulders Full Flexion is a shoulder mobility exercise performed standing upright. Both arms are raised forward and overhead through the full range of shoulder flexion, improving mobility in the glenohumeral joint and engaging the anterior deltoids and upper trapezius.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet shoulder-width apart and arms hanging at your sides, palms facing your thighs
  • Keeping elbows straight, slowly raise both arms forward and upward in a controlled arc
  • Continue lifting until both arms are fully overhead with biceps alongside your ears
  • Hold the overhead position briefly, feeling a gentle stretch across the chest and shoulders
  • Slowly lower your arms back to the starting position
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
