How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and arms at your sides
  • Interlace your fingers behind your back or clasp your hands together overhead
  • Raise both arms up and slightly back, feeling a stretch across the front of the shoulders and chest
  • Hold the position for the desired duration, breathing slowly and deeply
  • Lower the arms and return to the starting position
