About this exercise

A standing mobility drill in which the hips are rotated in slow, controlled circles in the horizontal plane to loosen the hip joints and surrounding musculature. Regular practice improves hip mobility, reduces stiffness, and supports athletic movement.

  • Keep your upper body upright and engage your core lightly
  • Begin moving your hips in a wide circle — forward, to one side, backward, and to the other side
