About this exercise

A dynamic standing mobility complex that strings together three movements: a front leg lift to warm up the hip flexors and hamstrings, a cross-body toe touch to stretch the posterior chain and obliques, and a lateral side bend to open the flanks. The sequence improves overall flexibility and coordination.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and arms at your sides
  • Lift one leg straight in front of you as high as comfortable
  • Reach the opposite hand across to touch the toes of the raised foot
  • Lower the foot back to the floor with control
  • Side-bend toward the same side leg, reaching the arm overhead and away
  • Return to the upright starting position
