MediumAbsCore

About this exercise

A core-strengthening exercise performed from a kneeling position, rolling a stability ball forward to extend the body and challenge the abdominals and deep stabilisers. The movement mirrors an ab wheel rollout but with more surface contact for better control.

How to Perform

  • Kneel on the floor and place both forearms or hands on top of a stability ball
  • Engage your core and keep your back flat
  • Slowly roll the ball forward by extending your arms, lowering your body toward the ground
  • Keep hips in line with your torso — avoid letting the lower back sag
  • Roll out as far as you can maintain a neutral spine
  • Pull the ball back toward your knees by contracting the abs
  • Return to the starting kneeling position and repeat
