About this exercise

A dynamic plyometric combination exercise where you perform a bodyweight squat and then immediately transition into a jumping jack, keeping the lower body active and the heart rate elevated. The movement trains leg power, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance in a single fluid sequence.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet together, arms at your sides
  • Jump your feet out to shoulder-width apart and simultaneously lower into a squat position, keeping your chest up and knees tracking over your toes
  • At the bottom of the squat, briefly pause before driving through your heels to stand
  • As you rise, jump your feet back together and clap your hands overhead as in a jumping jack
  • Land softly with knees slightly bent, feet together, ready for the next repetition
  • Maintain a controlled, rhythmic pace and keep your core engaged throughout
  • Continue for the target number of repetitions or time
