How to Perform

  • Sit upright on a padded stool with feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart
  • Place one hand behind your head or extend it overhead, and rest the other hand on your thigh
  • Keeping your hips stable, slowly bend your torso to one side as far as comfortable
  • Pause briefly at the bottom of the movement
  • Return to an upright position using your obliques
  • Repeat for the desired reps, then switch sides
