How to Perform

  • Sit on the floor in full or modified lotus position with legs crossed
  • Sit tall with a straight spine and place your hands on your knees or beside you
  • Slowly begin rotating your hips in a horizontal circle, shifting your weight gradually
  • Move through the full range of motion in one direction for the desired duration
  • Reverse the direction and perform the rotation the other way
  • Keep your upper body relatively still and breathe steadily throughout
