How to Perform

  • Sit upright on the edge of a padded stool with feet together and arms at your sides
  • Raise both arms out to the sides to shoulder height while stepping one foot out to the side
  • Hold briefly at the top with arms parallel to the floor and leg extended
  • Lower your arms and return your foot to the starting position
  • Repeat, alternating the step-out leg with each repetition
  • Keep your torso tall and avoid leaning to either side
