A balance and coordination drill performed on one leg while delivering cross punches, challenging core stability and proprioception alongside shoulder and oblique activation. Maintaining balance on a single leg forces deep stabilizers to work throughout each punch.

How to Perform

  • Stand on one leg with a slight bend in the supporting knee and core braced
  • Lift the opposite knee to hip height to establish your balance
  • Extend one arm forward in a cross-punch motion across your body
  • Retract the arm and immediately throw a cross punch with the other arm
  • Keep your hips level and avoid rotating the torso excessively
  • Complete all reps on one side before switching the standing leg
