About this exercise

A low-impact version of the classic burpee that replaces the explosive jump with a controlled step to eliminate noise and landing impact. It is ideal for apartment workouts or noise-sensitive environments while still challenging the full body.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet hip-width apart and arms at your sides
  • Hinge forward and place your hands on the floor just outside your feet
  • Step one foot back, then the other, moving into a high plank position
  • Perform a push-up (optional), keeping your body in a straight line
  • Step one foot forward toward your hands, then bring the other foot to meet it
  • Rise back up to standing in a controlled manner
  • Repeat for the desired number of reps, keeping the movement smooth and quiet
