About this exercise

The Side Wrist Pull Stretch stretches the forearm flexors and extensors by extending one arm and using the opposite hand to pull the fingers or wrist sideways. It is commonly used to relieve forearm tightness and improve wrist mobility.

How to Perform

  • Stand or sit tall with your arm extended in front of you at shoulder height
  • Turn your palm outward or downward depending on which muscles you want to target
  • Use your opposite hand to gently pull the fingers or wrist to the side
  • Feel the stretch along the inner or outer forearm
  • Hold for the desired duration, breathing steadily
  • Release and repeat on the other arm
