About this exercise

A low-impact cardio and coordination exercise that combines lateral stepping with an overhead arm raise, making it an excellent warm-up or active recovery movement to increase blood flow and mobility.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet together and arms at your sides
  • Step one foot out to the side while simultaneously raising both arms overhead
  • Bring your feet back together and lower your arms to the starting position
  • Step the other foot out to the opposite side while raising your arms again
  • Continue alternating sides in a steady, controlled rhythm
  • Keep your core braced and maintain an upright posture throughout
