About this exercise

A plyometric lateral movement where you step to one side and swing your arms rhythmically, building coordination, agility, and lower-body power. The continuous side-to-side motion also elevates heart rate for a cardio effect.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet together and arms relaxed at your sides
  • Step one foot out to the side while swinging both arms in the same direction
  • Bring the trailing foot to meet the lead foot
  • Immediately step out to the other side, swinging arms to follow
  • Continue alternating sides in a smooth, rhythmic pattern
  • Keep a slight bend in your knees throughout the movement
