About this exercise

A dynamic plyometric combination that links a lateral step, an overhead arm swing, and a lateral leg raise into one fluid movement. It trains coordination, hip abductors, and shoulder mobility while elevating the heart rate for a cardio conditioning effect.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet together, arms at your sides
  • Step out to one side with your right foot while simultaneously swinging both arms overhead
  • At the end of the step, raise your left leg out to the side as high as comfortable, keeping it straight
  • Lower your left leg and return your arms as you bring your feet together
  • Repeat to the opposite side, stepping left and raising your right leg
  • Maintain an upright posture and engage your core throughout each repetition
  • Move fluidly between the three components — step, swing, and raise — without pausing
