About this exercise

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet hip-width apart, knees slightly bent, and fists raised at shoulder level
  • Shuffle laterally to one side with quick, low steps, staying light on your feet
  • As you shuffle, throw alternating overhead punches with each arm
  • After a few shuffles, reverse direction and shuffle to the other side
  • Keep your core braced and your shoulders active throughout the punching motion
  • Maintain a steady tempo, increasing speed as you build rhythm
