How to Perform

  • Sit upright on the edge of a chair with your back straight and both feet flat on the floor
  • Engage your core and grip the sides of the chair for support if needed
  • Straighten one leg by fully extending the knee and raise it to approximately hip height
  • Hold the top position for a moment, squeezing the quadricep
  • Lower the leg slowly back to the starting position
  • Complete all reps on one side before switching to the other leg
