A seated bodyweight movement performed on a chair in which you alternately kick each leg forward by extending the knee, targeting the quadriceps and improving hip mobility. The exercise is easy to perform anywhere and makes a great low-impact option for beginners or office breaks.

How to Perform

  • Sit upright on the edge of a chair with both feet flat on the floor
  • Brace your core and keep your back straight throughout the movement
  • Kick one leg forward by straightening the knee until the leg is fully extended
  • Hold the extended position for a moment, then lower the foot back to the floor
  • Immediately repeat with the opposite leg
  • Continue alternating legs for the desired number of repetitions
