The seated in-out leg raise is a bodyweight core exercise performed on the floor. You balance on your sit bones and alternate between drawing your knees toward your chest and extending your legs out straight, creating constant tension on the abdominals throughout.

How to Perform

  • Sit on the floor with your hands beside your hips for support
  • Lean back slightly and lift your feet off the floor, keeping your back straight
  • Draw both knees toward your chest in a controlled motion
  • Extend both legs out straight without touching the floor
  • Keep your core tight throughout the entire movement
  • Continue alternating between the tucked and extended positions for the desired reps
