About this exercise

A seated bodyweight core exercise where both legs trace a large circular path while the torso remains slightly reclined, challenging the abs, hip flexors, and obliques through the rotational arc of motion.

How to Perform

  • Sit on the floor with knees slightly bent and lean back at a 45° angle, bracing your core
  • Extend your legs in front of you and lift them off the floor
  • Move both legs together in a slow, controlled circle — sweeping out to one side, down, across, and back up
  • Keep your lower back neutral and your abs engaged throughout the circular motion
  • Complete the target number of circles in one direction, then reverse and repeat in the other direction
  • Avoid letting your heels touch the floor between reps
