A self-myofascial release technique targeting the plantar fascia and intrinsic muscles of the foot using a foam roller. Rolling the foot helps alleviate plantar tightness, reduce discomfort from plantar fasciitis, and improve overall foot mobility and arch health.

How to Perform

  • Stand or sit in a chair and place one foot on top of the foam roller
  • Apply light downward pressure through the foot onto the roller
  • Slowly roll the foot forward and backward, from the heel to the ball of the foot
  • Pause on any tight or tender spots for 20–30 seconds
  • Move the foot slightly medially or laterally to cover different areas of the arch
