About this exercise

A self-myofascial release technique using a firm ball to apply targeted pressure to the pectoral muscles. This helps reduce tightness in the chest, improve shoulder mobility, and counteract the effects of prolonged sitting and forward-rounded posture.

How to Perform

  • Stand facing a wall and place the ball between your chest and the wall, just inside the shoulder joint
  • Lean into the wall to apply comfortable pressure onto the pectoral muscle
  • Slowly move your body in small circles or shift up and down to find tight or tender spots
  • When you locate a tender area, hold steady pressure for 20–30 seconds while breathing deeply
  • Raise and lower your arm slowly while maintaining pressure to further release the tissue
  • Continue exploring the pectoral area, including the inner and outer portions
  • Release and switch to the other side
