About this exercise

How to Perform

  • Set gymnastic rings to roughly waist height and stand between or in front of them
  • Grasp both rings for balance and step one foot forward, adopting a split stance
  • Keep your torso upright and core braced as you lower your back knee toward the floor
  • Descend until your front thigh is roughly parallel to the floor
  • Drive through your front heel to return to the starting position
  • Complete all reps on one side before switching legs
