How to Perform

  • Set gymnastic rings at a low height and assume a plank position with both feet in the rings
  • Brace your core tightly and maintain a neutral spine
  • Drive your hips up and pull the rings toward your torso in a reverse rollout motion
  • Pause and hold the target isometric position for the prescribed duration
  • Keep your shoulders packed down and away from your ears throughout the hold
  • Slowly reverse the motion to return to the plank starting position
  • Maintain full-body tension at all times to protect the lower back
