About this exercise

A kickboxing combination sequence consisting of a straight right cross, a left hook, and a rear-leg kick, training power, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance simultaneously. Full-body rotational force generated through the hips drives each strike in the sequence.

How to Perform

  • Stand in a fighting stance with your left foot forward and both fists raised at guard height
  • Throw a straight right cross by rotating your right hip and shoulder forward explosively
  • Immediately pivot and throw a left hook, rotating your torso and swinging your left arm horizontally
  • Chamber your rear knee and deliver a kick — roundhouse, push kick, or side kick — toward the target
  • Quickly retract the kick and return to your fighting stance to reset for the next repetition
