How to Perform

  • Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor
  • Place a pillow under your lower back for support
  • Cross your arms over your chest or rest your fingertips lightly at your temples
  • Slowly curl your upper back off the floor, lifting your shoulder blades just clear of the ground
  • Hold briefly at the top, then lower back down in a controlled manner
  • Keep your lower back in contact with the pillow throughout the movement
