About this exercise

A reactive plyometric drill where you perform rapid, continuous two-foot jumps driven primarily by ankle stiffness and calf elasticity. It trains lower-leg power, Achilles tendon reactivity, and neuromuscular coordination.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet hip-width apart and arms slightly out for balance
  • Jump off the ground using your calves and ankles, keeping your knees relatively stiff
  • Land on the balls of both feet and immediately rebound into the next jump
  • Minimize ground contact time — bounce quickly like a pogo stick
  • Keep your body upright and your core braced throughout
  • Avoid excessive knee bend; the movement should feel springy and ankle-driven
  • Maintain a steady rhythm for the prescribed number of reps or duration
