About this exercise

A dynamic lower-body movement that combines a lateral lunge with a bouncing pulse at the bottom to stretch the inner thighs and mobilize the hips. The plyometric pulse adds a dynamic component that improves flexibility under load and prepares the legs for athletic activity.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet together and arms at your sides
  • Step out wide to one side and shift your weight onto that leg, bending the knee while keeping the other leg straight
  • Sink into the side lunge until you feel a stretch in the inner thigh of the straight leg
  • Perform a small, controlled bounce or pulse at the bottom of the lunge
  • Push back up to the starting position
  • Repeat on the other side or alternate sides for the desired number of repetitions
