HardAbsCore

About this exercise

An advanced bodyweight core exercise performed from a plank position, where you alternately pull one arm upward in an anti-gravity rowing motion against gravity. The movement challenges core stability, anti-rotation strength, and upper-back engagement while maintaining a rigid plank throughout.

How to Perform

  • Set up in a high plank position with hands directly under shoulders and body in a straight line
  • Brace your core tightly to resist rotation and maintain a stable plank
  • Lift one arm off the floor and drive your elbow upward as if performing a row against gravity
  • Squeeze your back muscles at the top of the movement for a brief pause
  • Lower the arm back to the floor with control and repeat on the opposite arm
  • Keep your hips level and avoid rotating or sagging through the set
  • Alternate arms continuously for the desired number of reps
