EasyGlutes

About this exercise

The Pelvic Tilt Into Bridge combines a lumbar pelvic tilt with a glute bridge, activating the core and posterior chain in a controlled floor sequence. It teaches proper spinal positioning before adding hip extension, making it an excellent warm-up or rehabilitation movement.

How to Perform

  • Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart
  • Press your lower back into the floor by contracting your abs and tilting your pelvis posteriorly
  • Hold the pelvic tilt briefly, then begin driving your hips upward
  • Squeeze your glutes as you lift your hips until your body forms a straight line from shoulders to knees
  • Hold the top position for a moment, maintaining the pelvic tilt
  • Lower your hips slowly back to the floor under control
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
