EasyAbsHamstrings

About this exercise

A standing mobility and coordination drill in which you raise one leg as high as possible in front of you while reaching the opposite or same-side hand overhead to tap the foot. It trains hamstring flexibility, hip flexor strength, and balance simultaneously.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet together, arms relaxed at your sides
  • Shift your weight onto your left foot and brace your core
  • Lift your right leg forward and upward as high as your flexibility allows, keeping the knee mostly straight
  • Simultaneously reach both arms (or the opposite arm) overhead and forward to tap the toes of your raised foot
  • Lower your leg and arms in a controlled manner back to the starting position
  • Alternate sides with each rep, maintaining an upright posture throughout
  • Move at a steady, controlled pace to build balance and hamstring flexibility
