Open and Knee Tuck on a Padded Stool is a plyometric core exercise performed in a plank-like position with hands on the stool. The movement alternates between spreading the legs wide (open) and drawing both knees toward the chest (tuck), challenging the abs, core stability, and hip flexors.

How to Perform

  • Place both hands on the padded stool and extend your legs behind you into a plank position
  • Keep your core braced and your back flat
  • Jump or step both feet out wide to the open position
  • Immediately jump or pull both knees in toward your chest for the tuck
  • Return to the wide open position and repeat the sequence
  • Maintain a controlled pace and keep your hips level throughout
