EasyMiddle back

About this exercise

A decompression and mobility exercise where the body hangs from a pull-up bar using a single hand, allowing gravity to lengthen the lat, shoulder, and surrounding tissues on one side at a time. It is particularly effective for relieving back tension and improving shoulder mobility.

How to Perform

  • Stand beneath a pull-up bar and grasp it with one hand using a comfortable overhand grip
  • Allow your body to hang freely, releasing tension in your shoulder and back
  • Let gravity gently pull your body downward to stretch the lat and shoulder on the gripping side
  • Keep your core lightly engaged and breathe steadily throughout the hold
  • Hold the position for the desired duration, then switch to the other hand
