About this exercise

A dynamic standing combination that links a rotational oblique twist with a high knee raise and a forward kick, training core rotation, hip flexor strength, and cardiovascular conditioning in one fluid movement.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, hands clasped in front of your chest or arms extended forward
  • Drive one knee up to hip height while rotating your upper body toward that knee
  • Without putting the foot down, extend the leg into a forward kick
  • Lower the leg and return to the starting position
  • Repeat on the opposite side, twisting the torso to meet each knee
  • Maintain an upright posture and keep the core engaged throughout
  • Continue alternating sides at a controlled, rhythmic pace
