EasyAbsCore

About this exercise

A dynamic core and cardio exercise where you assume a push-up position with hands on a flat bench instead of the floor, then drive alternating knees toward your chest in a running motion. Elevating your hands on the bench reduces the intensity compared to the floor version, making it suitable for beginners or as an active warm-up.

How to Perform

  • Place both hands on a flat bench, shoulder-width apart, and step your feet back into a plank position
  • Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels, core braced and hips level
  • Drive your right knee toward your chest as explosively as you can
  • Quickly return the right foot back and simultaneously drive the left knee toward your chest
  • Continue alternating legs in a controlled running rhythm
  • Breathe steadily and maintain a neutral spine throughout the set
